How to remove press-on nails without damaging your natural nail
Warm water, patience and a wooden stick - plus how to clean a set so you can wear it again.

The short answer
Remove press-on nails by soaking your hands in warm soapy water for ten minutes, sliding a wooden stick under the lifted edge, and easing the tip off without pulling; never pry a dry tip off.
- · Soak first, always
- · Work from the edge inwards
- · Save the set for next time
Soak first, always
Fill a bowl with warm water and a few drops of gentle soap or oil, and soak for ten minutes. The adhesive softens and the tip begins to lift on its own. A dry tip pulled off takes layers of your natural nail with it.
Work from the edge inwards
Slide a wooden cuticle stick under the free edge and rock it gently towards the cuticle. If it resists, soak for another few minutes rather than forcing it. Finish by buffing away any glue residue and applying cuticle oil.
Save the set for next time
Peel the old glue from the inside of each NEEVANAILS tip, wipe with alcohol, and return the tips to their tray. Stored dry, a set can be reworn several times - which is where reusable press-ons quietly beat a repeat gel appointment.
